Goose is originally from Watsonville, California. Watsonville, CA is located between Monterey and Santa Cruz along the Monterey Bay Peninsula. Watsonville is one of the many cities that claim to be the “Strawberry Capital of the World.” Watsonville is also known for it’s Las Vegas-style nightlife. The place to be seen in Watsonville (if you can get in) is the Cilantro’s Ultra Lounge. “Cilis” is known for its social atmosphere and great looking people.

Where does the name “Goose” come from?

G double “O” to the S E is a nickname given by a youth baseball coach to Goose during his little league days in Watsonville. Goose Gossage was a well known pitcher in the Majors and the youth baseball coach referred to Goose’s style similiar to the that of major leaguer. Goose is not his birth given name as rumored by many news outlets.
